World Gourmet Festival Holds Live Twitter Chat ##WGFA16with Michelin-Starred Chefs

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel hosts the annual World Gourmet Festival which brings some of the world’s most talented chefs and cocktail masters to Bangkok. This year from 19 – 25 September nine chefs from eight countries take over the hotel’s lobby and restaurants. Each chef has been hand selected from the prestigious World’s 50 Best Restaurants list to cook select dinner engagements.

Those who are unable to travel need not feel left out, as  Anantara Siam will hold a Twitter chat on Friday 9 September from 5.30 to 6 pm BKK local time (GMT +7). Many of the chefs will join live, including Cookbook Author and TV personality, Bobby Chinn; Mauro Colagreco, carrying two Michelin stars; Spanish Josean Alija, one Michelin-star; Hideaki Sato, one Michelin-star and Kanesaka Shinji, one of the most celebrated and youngest sushi chefs in Japan with two Michelin-stars. Media sponsors include Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia and Fine Dining Lovers.

Pre-curated questions will be selected by the chefs themselves, and the most innovative question will win two tickets to Sunday Brunch at Anantara Siam*. Foodies and enthusiasts can submit their questions online using #WGFA16, or via the event’s Facebook page. During the event, join in the conversation with@anantara_hotelsusing the hashtag for an opportunity to discuss with some of the world’s most creative culinary talent.

Tickets and passports to the Festival are already on sale and can be bought directly at the hotel or through WorldGourmetFestivalAsia.com. Spread the word with #WGFA16.

*Questions must be submitted by midnight Wednesday 7 September 2016 for consideration. Selection of the winner is solely up to the discretion of the event organizers, and will be announced following the chat.
